📢 AGROECOLOGY Summer School 2025: Application Results

Early February, the Agroecology Partnership launched a Call for Applications for the Summer School on “Conservation Agriculture in Mediterranean Systems”, that will take place on May 7-9 (2025) in Elvas, Portugal. It has the aim to support the creation and empowerment of a multi-actor community of agroecologists by bringing together at least two groups of actors that will focus on a common issue and work towards devising a solution. The Summer School will offer expert-led lecturespractice-focused discussions, and hands-on farm visits so participants are able to share their experience and also gain knowledge into applied research, real-world farming applications, and the challenges and opportunities of Agroecology in Southern Europe.

🗺️ By the end of March, 302 eligible candidates from 26 countries (EU Member States, Associated and Candidate Countries) were evaluated and ranked based on the selection and balancing criteria as provided in the application and criteria guidelines. As a result, 15 candidates from 10 different countries (BE, DE, ES, GR, IT, LT, PL, PT, TR and UK), representing diverse backgrounds such as researchers and farmers, were selected.

We are looking forward to welcoming the participants next week in Portugal!
