News | Project news 19 research projects selected for funding under the 2nd co-funded call
We wish to thank all applicants for submitting their proposals in response to the 2nd AGROECOLOGY co-funded call “Integrating environmental, economic and social perspectives in assessing the performance of agroecology. Value-chain and policy implications”.
In total, 87 pre-proposals were submitted, of which 33 consortia were invited to submit a full proposal. A scientific peer review process by a panel of international experts and funders meeting resulted in the selection of 19 projects for funding with a total amount of €25 Mio. The selected consortia include a diverse range of partners: universities, research institutes, non-profit organisations, private companies, and others. Additionally, both call themes are addressed: 13 proposals address Theme 1 and 6 proposals Theme 2. Participating countries include: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Türkiye.
