Early Career Researcher (ECR) Hosting 2027

The AGROECOLOGY Partnership is launching a call for applications for its 1st Early Career Researcher (ECR) Hosting programme. The Partnership offers ECRs the opportunity to receive mobility grants for research stays at a host institution of their choice in another eligible country. The grants aim to foster international collaboration, knowledge exchange, skills development, and professional networking in the field of agroecology.

Who can apply

Early Career Researchers who:

  • have obtained an academic qualification, such as Master's degree as a minimum requirement, or a PhD; the date of the certificate must not be more than five years before the application deadline;
  • are permanent residents of an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country; and
  • have obtained the agreement of a host institution willing to host the ECR.

What

  • Financial support of up to €3,000 for a research visit of at least four weeks.
  • An opportunity to gain experience at a host institution in another country.

Where

Host institutions must be located in an EU Member State, or a Horizon Europe Associated Country and may include universities, research institutes, or public organisations involved in research or policy.
